The VIKAS VWG-201/202 twin cylinder WOOD GRAB feature powerful 360° continuous rotation and are multi-purpose for excellent versatility. 360° rotation allows the wood grab to pick and place stems precisely and quickly They feature an optimum leg shape for large bunches of stems or single large logs are easily grappled by the wide opening legs tight grapple closure for superior small log control, and heavy duty legs that possess the optimum shape loading, unloading, and sorting.
Thanks to its horizontally positioned cylinders, the overall design of the VIKAS VWG-101series is flat. With their shears made of high-strength steel, the wood grapples deliver high cutting power. The piston rods synchronised steering and cylinders are integrated in the housing and hence well-protected. Low profile design provides greater loading height; alloy steel construction allows low weight combined with high strength ideally suited to small round wood loading. The Wood Grab are equipped with a hydraulic rotary drive which offers 360° continuous rotation and features integrated pressure limitation. This enables accurate positioning of the attachment.
